Breathing Buildings Set To Take The Stage At Cibse Build2perform Live 2018

Breathing Buildings is delighted to be presenting a seminar at the CIBSE Build2Perform Live, taking place on 27th and 28th November 2018 at Olympia, London. Breathing Buildings’ Technical Director, Dr Owen Connick will be speaking on the 27th November 2018 at 12:00pm on ‘Getting to grips with acoustic constraints under different modes of ventilation (BB93)’ and at 15:45pm on ‘BB101, Ventilation for School Buildings – recent developments and understanding the guidance’.

As part of the ‘Acoustic issues in relation to Natural Ventilation’ session, Owen will be highlighting the acoustic constraints under different modes of ventilation (BB93). In another session addressing ‘Building performance in schools’, Owen will be speaking about BB101 ventilation for school buildings guidelines. Heading the design and consultancy teams at Breathing Buildings, Owen is experienced in many aspects of sustainability in the built environment. Graduating in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College London, Owen completed his PhD on the fluid mechanics of hybrid natural ventilation.
