Breathing Buildings were brought in by the buildings' desingers
to ensure that natural ventilation was delivered in the most
efficent mean possible. The University building needed to be a
friendly and comfortable place for student to learn. The
ventilation requirements for buildings were particularly
challenging due to the positioning of the building and its close
proximity to a busy public transport route. This meant that the
space needed to be acoustic sound to ensure a quiet teaching space,
there were also over heating criteria that needed to be meet in a
variety of spaces.
Breathing Buildings' consultants were involved in the project
from very earlier on which enable the team to produce an incredibly
efficiently designed building.
