University of Hertfordshire: Law Court Building

UOH

Breathing Buildings were brought in by the buildings' desingers to ensure that natural ventilation was delivered in the most efficent mean possible. The University building needed to be a friendly and comfortable place for student to learn. The ventilation requirements for buildings were particularly challenging due to the positioning of the building and its close proximity to a busy public transport route. This meant that the space needed to be acoustic sound to ensure a quiet teaching space, there were also over heating criteria that needed to be meet in a variety of spaces.

Breathing Buildings' consultants were involved in the project from very earlier on which enable the team to produce an incredibly efficiently designed building.
